Over 30 companies have joined forces to support the cause, with notable participation from accounting giant KPMG, which is providing assistance with fundraising and distributions. Other major companies, such as crypto wallet provider Zengo, Fuse, Wonderland, and Psagot Equity, are also contributing to the campaign through awareness and financial contributions.

Crypto Aid Israel is proud to announce that it has successfully completed two rounds of aid distribution to several organizations at the forefront of the relief efforts. These contributions, totaling 200,000 NIS, are intended to have a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.

The NGOs that have already received funding from Crypto Aid Israel include:

Zaka

This NGO, based in Israel, relies on volunteers to provide search and rescue, disaster response, and emergency medical services, especially in the aftermath of major incidents and emergencies. The funding was allocated to secure critical medical equipment and ceramic vests for Zaka's volunteers who operate on the front lines.

Lev Echad By Or Hanegev VeHagalil

The NGO is dedicated to aiding at-risk youth and promoting social inclusion in Israel through a range of educational and empowerment programs. The funding received was utilized to provide essential supplies such as food, hygiene products, and clothing to those who have chosen to remain in regions adjacent to Gaza in order to support and protect the municipalities and Kibbutzim.

Latet

Latet is a non-profit organization based in Israel that aims to combat poverty and provide humanitarian aid to disadvantaged communities, with a particular focus on food security and social assistance. Recently, the organization launched a large-scale operation in the southern region of Israel, where citizens are in urgent need of food and hygiene supplies due to limited access to resources. These supplies are being provided to families in need, elderly people, Holocaust survivors, and reservists operating in the field. In an effort to increase support for their cause, Latet's board has added a new digital initiatives advisor, Eyal Gura, who believes that the crypto channel is an important and innovative way for new contributors to join the global ecosystem and support Israel in this critical time.

“Once we realized the scale of the disaster and have realized it’s Israel’s most challenging times, Latet started to work in an emergency mode. As we did in the past, in over 25 national disasters globally and locally, we allocated the entire organization infrastructure to enable immediate aid to the families in need and will continue to execute as long as it will take.”

Unfortunately, Crypto Aid Israel has experienced significant phishing attacks, highlighting the importance of remaining vigilant during these challenging times. This worrisome situation was discussed in a recent report by Ynet News. Moreover, there was a brief disruption in the service of our website, which lasted less than 30 minutes. However, our hosting provider promptly resolved this issue, as they were concerned about potential fraudulent activities impersonating Crypto Aid Israel. This incident further reinforces our commitment to transparency and legitimacy. Tim Freed, a senior leader within Crypto Aid Israel commented:

“We are deeply humbled by the outpouring of support from the global crypto community. Together, we have made significant strides in our mission to assist those affected by the recent wave of Hamas terrorism. The completion of two rounds of aid distribution shows how crypto can be used as a force of good in the world. Our commitment to transparency and legitimacy remains unwavering, and we are determined to continue our efforts in providing aid and relief to those in need.”

Crypto Aid Israel is grateful for the continuous support provided by the global crypto community.
