The Meta Masters Guild presale continues to attract huge investment and excitement and flew past the $2 million milestone over the weekend.
That means since launching just two weeks ago almost 50% of the MEMAG presale supply has already been purchased.
Now in stage 4 and on sale for $0.016, there are less than five days to purchase MEMAG at this price point before an increase to $0.019 (18.75%) in stage 5.
In the seventh and final stage, MEMAG will be on sale for $0.023 – a 44% increase from the current price and 228% rise from stage 1.
However, investment isn’t just flying in because of the excitement over the price structure and MMG’s place as one of the best crypto presales of 2023, but because Meta Masters Guild is building Web3’s first mobile gaming platform.
Mobile Gaming Offers Higher Potential than Console or PC
According to a study by Newzoo, the mobile gaming industry was worth $92.2 billion in 2022, as much as console gaming ($51.2 bn) and PC gaming combined ($38.8 bn) – and will rise to at least $103 billion by 2025.
Mobile games are cheaper, quicker and easier to produce than AAA-rated games and although they don’t come with the same prestige, they are much more attractive to casual players.
MMG already has three games in development – Meta Kart Racers, Raid NFT and Meta Masters World. Meta Kart Racers is the furthest along in its development and is expected to launch in late 2023.
The game will see players purchase and upgrade drivers and karts and take to the track for solo and player-vs-player races to earn rewards.
Blockchain games studio Gamearound, which previously created games for billion-dollar fashion brand Boohoo, is developing the title, which will be available on Android and iOS.
Gamearound CEO Gideon Clifton said: “We are excited to announce the development of a fully playable version that will be released later this year.
“This playable version will feature a free entry-level NFT character and kart, with premium versions available for purchase in our NFT marketplace or unlockable in the game.”
He added: “Our goal is to revolutionize the mobile gaming community by introducing fun and rewarding Play-to-Earn (P2E) games, with Meta Kart Racers being the first in the MEMAG launch collection.”
Raid NFT is a turn-based fantasy fighter game and Meta Masters World is an open-world metaverse with little structure that sees players roam, explore, complete missions and interact with other players.
Focus on Fun
Despite the obvious advantages of developing mobile games over more expansive games, MMG is also prioritizing fun and sustainability over tokenization and rewards.
Many P2E games have struggled to keep players interested due to boring games, despite being loved by investors, while others have been bogged down building long, expensive and complicated games.
Meta Masters Guild will have a ‘focus on fun’ and has positioned itself as a play-and-earn project rather than a play-to-earn.
To further show tokenization is a secondary concern, have created a second off-chain token, GEMS, to act as the ecosystems currency and relieve consistent selling pressure on MEMAG.
GEMS are earned as rewards in the games and can also be used to purchase assets and upgrades – MMG will have a bustling central marketplace where items can be bought and sold, with all assets owned by players as NFTs.
MEMAG Tokenomics
Already in stage 4 of its presale, MEMAG tokens are selling extremely fast with stage 5 to start in less than five days.
Of the 1 billion max supply of MEMAG, 35% has been allocated to the presale – with around 60% of that total sold – and 15% for liquidity on exchanges.
There is no vesting period on presale tokens and a hard cap of $4.97 million.
The remaining supply has been saved for the ecosystem (15%), the marketplace (15%), the company reserve (10%) and the team (10%) – with these tokens are vested for between 36 and 48 months.
Meta Masters Guild has been developed by a doxxed team that is KYC verified by CoinSniper, while the MEMAG token has been audited by SolidProof.
The project is also running a $100,000 MEMAG token giveaway.
